Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Mount Pleasant, NY seeks a compassionate full-time PCA to provide daily care for residents in a warm, home-like setting. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, documenting care, and communicating changes to the health team.

Shifts are Friday through Monday, 7a-3p and 3p-11p. A valid PCA/PNA license and dementia care experience are preferred. Sign-on bonus of $500 is offered to join the team.

• Document care and report changes to staff.

We are looking for a compassionate full time PCA to join our team! As a PCA, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

Shifts available: Friday through Monday; 7a-3p and 3p-11p

PCA Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
