This full-time position supports residents with empathy-driven care, helps plan engagement activities, and maintains thorough care documentation. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read, write and communicate in English with Residents.
• Positive energetic attitude toward Residents.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks (printing, entering information).
• Physically able to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Criminal background cleared.

Responsibilities

• Advocate empathy and create human connections with residents.
• Observe residents’ interests and abilities to craft engagement plans.
• Set the stage for daily routines and events in memory care areas.
• Partner with residents to support daily activities from wake to sleep.
• Document resident care and changes in condition.
• Assist with orientation of memory care team members.
