Job summary

Garden Spot Village is seeking a Resident Assistant - Memory Care (Full-time) in New Holland, PA. You will provide hands-on care, support daily activities, and encourage resident engagement in programs while maintaining a safe, dignified environment.

The role requires compassion, teamwork, and reliability. A high school diploma is expected, CPR/First Aid certification preferred, and the position includes benefits such as health insurance and a 401K match. Nights shift available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in healthcare or related field preferred but not required.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain after hire).
• Diabetic Training (or willingness to obtain after hire).
• Commitment to customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, continence care, oral hygiene, hair grooming, dressing, and daily living activities.
• Assist with new resident admissions, including unpacking, orientation and explaining activities and meal schedules.
• Respond promptly to resident call bells and assist at meal times as required.
• Take and document vital signs (temperature, pulse, resp., BP, weight, accu-checks).
• Attend department meetings and safety drills; maintain residents' privacy and dignity.
