You will help residents with daily living activities and provide companionship under supervision of the Resident Care Director. The role emphasizes assisting with ADLs, mobility, meals, and activities, documenting care accurately, coordinating with the care team, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience in personal care or senior living preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transfers, continence care, dining assistance, and personal hygiene.
• Promote independence, dignity, privacy, and comfort.
• Provide compassionate emotional support, companionship, cueing, supervision, and redirection as needed.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and safety equipment.
• Conduct routine resident rounds, wellness checks, and safety observations.
• Document changes in resident condition and report to supervisor or healthcare provider.
• Follow individualized care plans and participate in updates.
• Respond to call bells, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
• Assist with transportation to dining, activities, appointments, and events.
• Support resident activities and social engagement as directed.
