Job summary

Garden Spot Village is seeking a part-time Resident Assistant to support health, safety, and daily well-being of residents. You will provide hands-on care, encourage engagement in activities, and help maintain a comfortable, dignified environment.

Shifts include day and evenings with every-other weekend; CPR/First Aid is required or obtainable after hire. This role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and respectful interaction with residents and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain after hire).
• Diabetic Training (or willingness to obtain after hire).
• Commitment to customer service and teamwork.
• Must rotate shifts and work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Comply with established policies, procedures, and standards, including the Compliance Program/Code of Conduct.
• Follow Residents’ Rights policies at all times.
• Treat all resident information as confidential.
• Treat residents, families, visitors, and peers with dignity and respect, maintaining a cheerful and positive attitude.
• Assist with personal care tasks and supportive activities to promote resident well-being.
• Assist with new resident admissions, including unpacking and orientation.
