Job summary

Garden Spot Village is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant for Memory Care (Flex) to support residents with daily living activities and health monitoring. You’ll assist with personal care, help orient new residents, and promote engagement in activities, while maintaining dignity and safety in a warm community setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain after hire), and a commitment to teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certifications current or willingness to obtain after hire.
• Diabetic Training (or willingness to obtain after hire).
• Experience in healthcare or related field preferred but not required.
• Commitment to customer service and teamwork.
• Must rotate shifts and work weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Support residents' health and safety and maintain dignity.
• Take and document vital signs and report abnormalities.
• Assist with new resident admissions and orientation.
• Respond promptly to resident call bells and assist during meals.
• Participate in activity programs and encourage social engagement.
• Attend meetings and training and practice safety.
