Job summary

Community Name is hiring a Resident Care Associate (CNA) to join our assisted living and memory care teams. The role provides hands-on care, supports residents and families, and helps maintain a safe, home-like environment on the night shift.

The position supports PSP-driven care, adheres to standards, and works evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Training is provided to ensure quality care and resident safety.

Qualifications

• High School education preferred and may be required by state.
• Previous experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to perform personal care aspects.
• Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living and Dementia care, preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Participates in developing and updating Personalized Service Plans (PSP) and attends plan review meetings with families.
• Maintains hydration schedule for residents during the shift.
• Completes meal attendance sheets; provides room service if not dining in dining room.
• Knows and complies with all resident rights.
• Initiates, assigns, and assists with activities as appropriate.
• Checks residents daily for cleanliness, clothing, continence, and changes in condition.
• Follows sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
• Monitors assigned rooms for cleanliness and safety; addresses high‑risk areas.
