Qualifications

• Experience as a Caregiver and Medication Tech in Memory Care Unit or Assisted Living Facility.
• Must have CPR/First Aid certification during employment.
• Must have Food Handler's Card.
• Experience in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications according to physician orders and under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Record medications administered in the resident's EMR.
• Monitor residents for side effects and report to health services.
• Assist with medical appointments and communicate with healthcare providers.
• Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and room.
• Follow care plans for medication administration and resident needs.
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a memory care setting.
