Job summary

Fieldstone Memory Care of Yakima is seeking a Medication Aide to assist with administering medications and supporting residents in a memory care setting. The role requires CNA/HCA licensure in good standing, WA state-compliant medication pass certification, and strong English communication skills.

Expect teamwork with nursing staff, documentation duties, and adherence to safety protocols. The position is full-time and based at our Yakima location, with duties including patient care, charting,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CNA/HCA license in good standing is required.
• Medication pass certification per WA requirements is required.
• First Aid and CPR Card is required.
• Criminal background and fingerprint check is required.
• General computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per physician orders and nursing directives.
• Maintain accurate medication/treatment records in residents' clinical files.
• Record narcotics accurately and report errors immediately.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to nursing staff and family.
• Assist with ADLs and document care provided.
• Promote resident dignity, independence and safety; follow infection control practices.
