Fieldstone Memory Care of Silverdale in Silverdale, WA, is seeking an AM Medication Aide to administer and assist with residents' medications, perform essential nursing tasks, and support daily living activities. The role requires a CNA/HCA license, Medication Pass certification, First Aid/CPR, and strong English communication, with a focus on safety, record-keeping, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold current CNA/HCA license in good standing.
• Medication pass certification per state requirements.
• Current First Aid and CPR Card.
• Pass a criminal background and fingerprint check.
• General computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Administers and/or assists with medications by oral, rectal, or topical routes per physician orders and nursing direction.
• Maintains accurate medication records and documents treatments or omissions.
• Records narcotics and reports medication errors promptly.
• Communicates with physicians, pharmacy, and families to ensure timely medication delivery.
• Provides direct resident care, supporting dignity, independence, and choice.
• -assists with ADLs and documents care in logs and incident reports.
• Greets residents, visitors, and staff with respectful, confidential communication.
• Follows safety, fire, infection control, and equipment maintenance protocols.
• Restores medication and keeps the medication area clean, disposing of outdated meds.
