Job summary

Fieldstone Memory Care of Yakima is seeking a full-time Caregiver for evening shifts to support residents with ADLs, meal prep, mobility, and companionship. You will document care provided, coordinate with staff, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with care standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred in senior care.
• Compassionate, patient, empathetic nature with interest in seniors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and assist with residents' mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Prepare and serve meals respecting dietary needs
• Assist with mobility, transfers and exercises
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain safe environment
• Monitor safety and respond to emergencies
• Document care provided and resident changes
• Maintain communication with families and team members
• Attend trainings and meetings
• Collaborate with nurses and staff to ensure quality care
