Job summary

Cascadia Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Med Tech on the NOC shift. The role involves administering and/or assisting with routine and non-injectable medications per physician orders, while promoting resident dignity and independence.

The ideal candidate holds a CNA/HCA license in good standing, a state medication pass certification, First Aid/CPR, and a Food Handler card, with strong English communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold current CNA/HCA license in good standing.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must hold a medication pass certification per state requirements.
• Current First Aid and CPR Card.
• Maintains current Food Handlers card.
• Pass a criminal background and fingerprint check.
• General computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Administers and/or assists with medications per physician orders and nursing practices.
• Record medications and treatments in resident records; note omissions or PRN meds.
• Record narcotics and report medication errors promptly.
• Report changes in resident conditions to nursing leadership and family as indicated.
• Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, and families to ensure timely medication delivery.
• Provide direct resident care while promoting dignity and independence.
• Assist with ADLs and document care in logs and incident reports.
• Greet residents, visitors, and staff, respecting dignity and confidentiality.
• Follow infection control and safety practices and report unsafe conditions.
