Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to provide compassionate care for our residents on the 12-hour NOC shift (7pm–7am) with weekend rotation required. You will administer medications, monitor resident status, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and well-being.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, a valid state medication administration license (or meeting state requirements), and current First Aid/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• State medication administration license or meet state requirements for assisted living.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Manage medication inventory and coordinate with pharmacies for re-orders/deliveries.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living.
• Promote independence and provide engagement and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Maintain open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
