Job summary

Avamere Living in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Med Tech-Assisted Living and Memory Care professional to administer medications and provide direct care to residents in a supportive, compassionate environment. The position offers either part-time or full-time hours with a wage range of $19.70 to $26.47 per hour (DOE).

Qualifications

• Experience as a Caregiver and Medication Tech in memory care or assisted living.
• Must obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification during employment.
• Must obtain a Food Handler’s Card.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications according to physician orders under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Administer accurately and timely and record in the resident’s EMR.
• Notify pharmacy or family when medications need refilling.
• Maintain a clean, organized medication cart and room.
• Monitor and report side effects to the Director of Health Services.
• Follow care plans and assist with medical appointments as assigned.
