Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities in Anthem, AZ seeks a Manager of Memory Care requiring an LPN license or RN; full-time with Sunday-Thursday schedule. Responsibilities include nursing care, health assessments, care planning, and staff management within the Resident Care department.

Ideal candidates hold a nursing degree/license, with 1–2 years of dementia-care management experience and a background in long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is required.
• Management experience in dementia care for seniors is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, or Gerontology is preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of management experience in directing/providing dementia care for seniors preferred.
• Strong background in patient care assessment and non-pharmacologic approaches to meeting resident needs.
• Experience in community or long-term care settings.
• Must meet all state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and staffing of team members.
• Provide nursing care to residents, including health assessments and care plans; discuss changes with physicians; interventions to reduce falls; medication administration as needed.
• Coordinate the resident admission process with the community’s multidisciplinary team, including screening, assessment and care planning.
