Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking an experienced LPN with management experience to lead dementia care for our senior residents. You will supervise staff, oversee assessments and care planning, and collaborate with physicians to implement interventions that improve resident well-being.

The role includes weekend coverage as Manager-On-Duty when needed, with full-time scheduling Sunday to Thursday. A strong nursing background in geriatric care and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
• Minimum 1-2 years management experience in dementia care preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, or Gerontology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and staffing of team members.
• Implementing resident-centered dementia care.
• Provide nursing care to residents incl. health assessments and care plans, discuss changes with physicians, and intervene to reduce falls.
• Coordinate resident admission process with multidisciplinary team.
