Job summary

Heritage Senior Living is seeking a proactive Community Relations Director in Oshkosh, WI, to grow occupancy and strengthen local market presence. This role emphasizes relationship-building, networking in the community, and guiding families from inquiry to move-in.

You’ll report to the Executive Director and partner with corporate teams on marketing and communications initiatives. A drive for results and exceptional customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• 2–5 years of sales and/or marketing experience.
• Senior living, memory care, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong sales and closing skills with a willingness to ask for the business.
• Proven networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident presentation and public-speaking abilities.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple prospects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Comfort working with CRM systems and tracking measurable sales activity and results.
• Valid driver’s license and appropriate automobile insurance as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive community census by developing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies.
• Manage leads from initial inquiry through tour, follow-up, deposit, and move-in.
• Conduct engaging community tours and confidently ask for the business.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective residents and referral sources.
• Track calls, leads, appointments, tours, deposits, sales, and other activity in our CRM.
• Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and families throughout the decision-making process.
• Prepare for and help coordinate successful resident move-ins.
