Job summary

Silverado St. Charles, a memory care innovator, is hiring a receptionist to join a warm, organized front desk team. Your role blends hospitality, administration, and compassionate service for residents, families, and guests in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll answer calls, greet visitors, manage mail, and keep associate/resident files up to date using Word and Excel. The position is part-time, PM shift, with a strong emphasis on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience interacting with the public via phone and in person.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls professionally and direct them appropriately
• Greet visitors and assist with check-in and directions
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail
• Maintain and update computer files related to associates and residents
• Support clerical duties and office functions as assigned
