Job summary

Silverado St. Charles is seeking a warm, organized receptionist to help create a welcoming environment for residents, families, and guests. You will blend professionalism, empathy, and multitasking to support front desk operations in a memory care community.

You will interact with residents and visitors, manage phone inquiries, and assist with administrative tasks. The role is part-time with a PM shift and strong team collaboration, aligned with Silverado’s commitment to care and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of experience interacting with the public via phone and in person.
• Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication with a focus on exceptional customer service.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs).
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls professionally and direct them appropriately.
• Greet visitors and assist with check-in and directions.
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail.
• Maintain and update computer files related to associates and residents.
• Support clerical duties and office functions as assigned.

Schedule: Part Time, PM shift, Saturday - Tuesday, 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Anticipated pay range

$17 - $17 USD
