Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree preferred.
• Previous experience with older adults, dementia, or memory care preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia-related communication and engagement techniques preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and implement a calendar of Memory Care programs and activities.
• Facilitate individual, small-group, and large-group programs appropriate to residents’ abilities.
• Provide engaging activities that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being.
• Incorporate residents’ histories, interests, and preferences into programming.
• Coordinate special events, family engagement, and community outings.
• Assist with driving residents as needed and authorized.
• Document participation and outcomes for program evaluation.
