Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Memory Care Director for the Lodi community. This role leads a Whole Living dementia care approach, coordinating care, activities, and culinary services to maximize resident independence and well‑being.

You will collaborate with culinary, activities, and health services teams to develop personalized care plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and recruit and supervise staff.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Prefer two (2) years of experience working with persons with dementia.
• Prefer one (1) year of supervising and managing employees.
• Residential Care Facility for the Elderly administrators’ license may be required.
• Hold or able to obtain dementia care certifications (e.g., CDP, CAC, CAE, CDCM, or equivalent).
• Able to obtain and maintain first aid/CPR and Food Handler’s certification.
• Criminal background check and health screening tests required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Ensures compliance with state (Title 22) dementia care regulations.
• Recruits, interviews, hires, onboards, trains, motivates, and retains memory care staff.
• Coordinates scheduling to ensure adequate staffing per standards.
• Directs memory care activities and dining to meet resident nutritional needs and program quality.
• Partners with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans.
