Cogir Senior Living in Scottsdale, AZ, seeks a Memory Care Director to oversee care delivery in the Memory Care neighborhood. You will train and supervise staff, support care plan execution, and liaise with residents' families, driving engaging programming to meet each resident’s needs.

The role emphasizes dementia-focused care, compliance with regulations, and collaboration with the Lifestyle team to provide meaningful activities and support for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• A degree in gerontology, nursing, social work, or related field is preferred.
• CDP certification is preferred or equivalent to experience and formal dementia training.
• Must meet the qualifications to support resident ADL care and medication administration per state requirements (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide training and orientation to Care Partners and Medication Care Partners.
• Assist in recruiting, supervising, and scheduling care staff.
• Maintain medication program under the oversight of Health and Wellness Director.
• Assist in assessments and reassessments of residents.
• Act as the contact for non-clinical issues related to resident care in Memory Care.
• Maintain a high degree of resident satisfaction and high-quality service.
