Job summary

Bethesda Senior Living Communities is seeking a dedicated Memory Care Director to lead a dementia-focused program within our community in Missouri. You will guide care Partners, assess residents, and oversee activities, ensuring a dignified, person-centered environment.

You will oversee program budgeting, support staff training, and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, and internal teams to deliver quality care and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory systems for assisted living communities.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate with residents, families, physicians, emergency personnel, and staff.
• Compassionate and genuinely cares for people with dementia.
• Resident assessments and service planning experience.
• Budget analysis, review and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Memory Care program and care Partners to ensure dementia-specific care is patient-centered and compliant.
• Conduct resident assessments and develop individualized service plans.
• Maintain and monitor program budgets and costs to align with approved budgets.
• Coordinate and lead activities throughout the day to promote engagement and function.
• Provide training and coaching to the care team and support staff.
• Promote excellent customer service with open communication among residents, families, physicians, and staff.
