Job summary

Villas of Holly Brook in Pekin, IL is seeking a Dietary Director for 30 to 40 hours weekly in a full-time management role. The position offers $18.50–$21.50 per hour and requires oversight of kitchen and dining services, staffing, and menu planning in alignment with resident needs and budgets.

You will supervise dietary staff, ensure health code compliance, and partner with leadership to maintain customer satisfaction and quality targets across dining operations.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of dietary experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Certified Food Protection Manager or equivalent certification per state/local law.
• Basic computer skills in Word, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and staffing for kitchen and dining venues.
• Supervise Dietary Services staff including scheduling, direction, and performance reviews.
• Meet with residents and families to ensure high satisfaction.
• Coordinate front of house and back of house to deliver top quality meals.
• Instruct kitchen and dining staff; cover multiple stations when needed.
• Work with leadership to achieve customer satisfaction and quality scores.
• Delegate tasks to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Ensure food is prepared, stored, and served per company and health codes.
• Interview and hire staff for the Dietary Services department.
• Monitor budgets for food, supplies, and labor; document spend monthly.
• Plan recipes and menus based on resident preferences and budgets.
• Maintain equipment, inventory of supplies, and vendor relationships.
