Job summary

Villas of Holly Brook is seeking a Dietary Aide in Pekin, IL. This full-time role offers 30–40 hours weekly with a pay range of $15.00 to $17.50 per hour.

You will assist cooks, take and serve resident orders, and uphold a restaurant-style dining experience while adhering to safety standards. Weekends are required, with comprehensive benefits upon full-time employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards.
• Weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Setting and clearing tables, assisting the cook, taking residents' food and beverage orders and serving residents professionally.
• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere.
• Set tables according to Company standards and serve beverages as requested.
• Review daily menu with residents and assist with events and special meals.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the dining areas.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for setting and clearing tables, assisting the cook, taking residents food and beverage orders and serving residents in a timely professional manner.
• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere.
• Set tables in accordance to Company standards.
• Serve residents and guests beverages as requested.
• Review daily menu with residents.
• Remove used or soiled plates, utensils, glasses, linen from the dining room as needed.
• Adhere to Quality standards and standard food safety practices.
• Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• When applicable acquaint new residents with menus, seating, and dining options and hours.
• Clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and equipment used in the dining room.
• Create a strong sense of team work and cooperation among all staff.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
