Job summary

Phoenix Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Associate (CNA) to join our team in our Phoenix area community. The role involves hands-on care, supporting seniors in assisted living and memory care, and executing personalized service plans to ensure residents’ safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include documenting PSPs, maintaining hydration and meal oversight, supporting activities, and promptly responding to call bells.

Qualifications

• High School education preferred or required by state
• Experience with elders or disabled individuals preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Knowledge/experience in Assisted Living and Dementia care preferred
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Participates in Personalized Service Plans and updates; attends plan reviews with families
• Maintain hydration schedule for residents during shift
• Complete meal attendance sheets; provide room service or dining alternatives as needed
• Uphold resident rights and dignity
• Initiate and assist with activities for residents
• Check residents daily for cleanliness, clothing and changes in condition
• Follow sanitary procedures and universal precautions
• Daily checks of resident rooms for cleanliness; escalate as needed
• Assist with laundry areas and common spaces; secure chemicals and ensure safety
• Complete activities of daily living (ADLs) per PSP
• Respond promptly to security systems and resident call bells and take appropriate action
