Job summary

Phoenix Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Associate (CNA) to join our team in Nevada. The role focuses on providing high-quality, person-centered care within assisted living and memory care neighborhoods.

It includes hands-on care, support per each resident’s PSP, and maintaining a safe, home-like environment. The position requires responsiveness to call bells, adherence to resident rights, and collaboration with families, with a shift from 2pm to 10pm (Mon-Fri).

Qualifications

• High School education preferred.
• Experience with elders or disabled individuals preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living industry and Dementia care preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the development of Personalized Service Plans and updates; attends plan review meetings with families.
• Maintains hydration schedule for residents.
• Provides meals and coordinates room service or dining room dining.
• Upholds resident rights and safety.
• Initiates and assists with activities for residents as appropriate.
• Inspects resident rooms daily for cleanliness and condition; addresses high-risk rooms.
• Maintains sanitation and universal precautions.
• Monitors cleanliness of common areas and secures hazardous chemicals.
• Completes ADLs per PSP.
• Responds promptly to security system and resident call bells; takes appropriate action.
