The Phoenix at Union Hill in Texas is hiring a Resident Care Associate (CNA) to join our assisted living and memory care teams. The role involves hands-on care, meal support, and adherence to PSPs to promote resident well-being in a safe, home-like environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, prior eldercare experience, and flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and varying shifts. All team members uphold resident rights and safety standards.

Formación

• High School education preferred or required by state.
• Experience with elders or disabled individuals preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform personal care.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours.

Responsabilidades

• Hydration schedule must be maintained during shift.
• Attend service plan review meetings with families as requested.
• Provide room service or dining room assistance if resident does not dine in dining room.
• Know and comply with all resident rights.
• Initiate, assign, and assist with activities where appropriate.
• Check assigned residents daily for cleanliness, clothing, continence, and changes in condition.
• Follow proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
• Check on resident rooms daily for cleanliness; ensure high risk rooms are double checked.
• Assist with laundry areas and common spaces; address cleanliness and hazardous chemicals.
• Complete all ADLs for residents per PSP.
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly and take appropriate action.
