MaineGeneral Medical Center's Glenridge Memory Care unit in Augusta is seeking a dedicated Memory Care CNA to provide compassionate, resident‑centered care for individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia.

Qualifications

• Active State of Maine CNA certification.
• Prior experience working with individuals affected by Alzheimer's and dementia is preferred.
• Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care activities within the scope of practice.
• Assists patients with meeting their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Greets patients and visitors.
• Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls.
• Calls codes, pages, and overhead announcements as requested.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
• Assists with keeping unit and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
