Brookdale Senior Living in Clarksville, TN is seeking a Memory Care Caregiver for the 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. shift.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, support dementia care plans, and promote independence and dignity in a compassionate, person-centered approach. Responsibilities include helping with bathing, dressing, mobility, meals, and meaningful engagement, while documenting changes and following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, family members and associates.
• Understanding of dementia and care needs for older adults living with dementia.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living in a dementia care setting.
• Support adherence to care plans and document changes in resident condition.
• Promote resident engagement, safety, and independence through person-centered care.
