Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Caregiver to support residents living with dementia in a compassionate memory care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, and mobility while adhering to individualized care plans and safety protocols.

Role emphasizes resident dignity, engagement, and teamwork with staff. Education includes a high school diploma or GED with related experience preferred; state regulations for medication assistance may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3–6 months related experience preferred or training in direct service with older adults living with dementia.
• Knowledge of dementia, particularly Alzheimer's type.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living as outlined in care plans.
• Provide input on care plans and daily living activities.
• Help with meals, grooming, bathing, and mobility under supervision.
• Maintain accurate daily records and report changes to supervisors.
• Support residents with meaningful engagement and person-centered activities.
