Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for Memory Care in Norfolk, VA. This part-time evening shift role includes assisting residents with ADLs, supervising medications, and providing personal and nursing care as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a Medication Technician certification (per state rules) and demonstrates strong communication and teamwork, with solid time management and a compassionate approach to seniors in a memory care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related training preferred.
• 1+ months of experience; senior living preferred.
• Current Medication Technician certification per state regulations.
• English proficiency to interact with residents and team.
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Supervise self-administered medications per MAR and TAR under supervision.
• Count and sign narcotics with approved personnel and report discrepancies.
• Order medications and notify responsible party when stock is low.
• Store medications properly and keep MARs accurate and updated.
• Provide personal care and general nursing tasks as assigned.
• Document in daily logs and monitor resident health and concerns.
• Attend trainings and maintain medical charts within 48 hours.
