Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver for PRN on-call shifts in Memory Care. You will respond to resident needs with dignity and compassion, support activities of daily living, and assist with meals and mobility. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and quality care in a dynamic community.

Requires high school diploma; Nursing Assistant certification preferred; English fluency is essential. Training is provided, and applicants must meet health and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred but on-the-job training is available.
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.
• Health screening and negative TB test within required timeframe.
• Must be able to follow oral and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining dignity and safety (50%).
• Read and follow care plans to ensure proper care.
• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals, and activities.
• Provide meal-time assistance: selecting meals, serving, and clearing trays.
• Transport residents safely in bed, wheelchair, or between areas.
• Perform regular safety checks on residents.
• Encourage participation in daily activities like bed making and laundry.
• Lead residents in meaningful activities and life enrichment.
• Manage oxygen tanks per medical orders as required.
• Chart and document information and report changes to a supervisor.
• Respond promptly to alerts and emergencies as needed.
• Assist in safety drills to ensure resident safety.
