Job summary

MBK Senior Living in Gilbert, AZ is hiring a Full-Time Caregiver for Memory Care. Shifts include 2:00pm–10:00pm most days; $19.00 per hour DOE.

You will assist residents with daily living, read care plans, document changes, and respond to alerts, while maintaining dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Caregiver Certification preferred/required.
• Nurses Aide certification preferred.
• Current first aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs promptly and kindly while maintaining dignity and safety (50%).
• Read and follow care plans to ensure proper care.
• Assist residents in daily living activities including bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals and activities.
• Provide assistance at mealtime with selecting meals, serving, and delivering room trays.
• Transport residents and assist with transfers using proper techniques.
• Perform regular safety checks on residents.
• Encourage participation in daily activities and lead meaningful activities.
• Handle laundry and other community duties as assigned.
• Manage oxygen tanks per MD orders; document information and report changes to supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident alerts and emergencies.
• Ensure safety and comfort; participate in drills.
