Job summary

MBK Senior Living in California is seeking a Caregiver (Memory Care) for a full-time role with Sunday–Thursday, 2:00pm–10:00pm shifts. Pay offers $18.00–$19.00 per hour, reflecting our commitment to high-quality care and employee growth.

The Caregiver delivers ADL assistance, safety checks, transportation, meal support, and social well-being for residents, following ISP guidance and MBK policies in a team-focused, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• First Aid, CPR and Medication Management Certifications (if state requires) and ongoing training.
• Food Handler’s Card preferred; training provided if not held.
• Nurses Aid Certification preferred unless state requires otherwise.
• 1+ year of caregiving experience in a similar setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining dignity, privacy and safety.
• Review ISP and lifestyle surveys at shift start and complete assignments accordingly.
• Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, hygiene, mealtimes) and mobility transfers.
• Provide safe transport to meals and activities; monitor resident condition and report changes.
• Support residents during meals, wellness activities, and social engagement.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks for residents and community as required.
• Manage oxygen tanks/concentrators as trained and prescribed by physicians.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain a safe, collaborative work environment.
• Comply with regulations and MBK policies; mentor and support team members.
