Job summary

Koelsch Communities seeks a Caregiver for Meadowbrook memory care in Texas. This full-time role offers two shifts (6AM–2PM or 2PM–10PM) and a CNA Certification Program, with costs paid by the employer.

The position pays $16–$17 per hour, based on experience, and includes comprehensive benefits for full-time staff. The successful candidate will assist residents with daily living, provide compassionate personal care, maintain safety and cleanliness, and support resident rights and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire.
• Must gain CPR/First-Aid certification as needed.
• Must pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance.
• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary.
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents.
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times.
• Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and report promptly to a licensed nurse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
