Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation in Gorham, ME is seeking compassionate aides to support Memory Care residents on day and evening shifts. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help residents stay as independent as possible while maintaining dignity.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for seniors with dementia preferred.
• Proficient English communication with residents and staff.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required by state.
• Basic computer skills including Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Compassionate, patient and engaging demeanor.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support to residents.
• Assist with daily living activities for Memory Care residents.
• Lead one-on-one and group activities.
• Serve residents during mealtime and assist with memory care laundry and basic housekeeping.
• Respond to resident/family/employee concerns with timely follow-up and high service levels.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents and co-workers.
