Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide companionship and memory care support in Auburn, ME. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, lead activities, and help during mealtimes while maintaining a positive, professional demeanor.

Qualifications include English proficiency, basic computer skills, and a possible CNA/CHHA license depending on state. Prior dementia care experience is preferred and DailyPay benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with seniors with dementia preferred.
• English proficiency to perform duties and communicate with supervisor and colleagues.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required by state.
• Basic computer skills; Outlook, Excel and Word required.
• Compassionate, kind, engaging and helpful.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to solve practical problems in variable situations.
• Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor with residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support to residents.
• Assist Memory Care residents with activities of daily living.
• Lead and participate in individual and group activities.
• Serve residents at mealtime and assist with memory care laundry and basic housekeeping.
• Address resident/family/employee concerns promptly and follow up.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors and co-workers.
