Methodist Retirement Communities seeks a Resident Care Assistant for Stevenson Oaks in Fort Worth to provide supportive memory care during day shifts. The role emphasizes teamwork, resident engagement, and delivering compassionate care in a senior living setting.

Primary responsibilities include assisting residents in daily activities, implementing meaningful programs, and promoting independence while maintaining a safe, respectful environment. CNA and caregiving experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Three-four years experience as a caregiver preferred.
• Experience with memory support preferred.
• Experience with aging population desired.
• High school diploma or equivalent desired.
• Knowledge/ability to learn computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Work 12 hour shift from 6:30 AM-6:30 PM in memory support.
• Work as part of a team to create an environment that encourages resident involvement and personal growth.
• Delivery of exceptional care in a community environment.
• Assessment and implementation of programming mirroring normal life activities for residents.
• Mentally and emotionally engaging residents and assisting them in recapturing the value of community life.
