Job summary

Cornerstone in Texarkana, TX, affiliated with Methodist Retirement Communities, seeks a Resident Care Assistant to work 7:00pm–7:00am in the Memory Support Unit.

You will assist licensed staff, perform routine resident care tasks, lead and coordinate activities, and help develop and implement care plans.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of resident care experience, and the ability to learn computer skills; we value compassion and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Two years of resident care experience, preferably in hospital or long-term care.
• Knowledge to learn computer skills.
• Working knowledge of basic patient care procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer resident care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Assist professional nursing staff with routine tasks.
• Lead and coordinate activities and programs for residents.
• Assist in development and implementation of care plans.
