Brio Living Services in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a dedicated Resident Care Assistant to provide compassionate personal care in our memory support and assisted living settings. The role involves helping residents with daily activities, monitoring health, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment.

You will work full-time on the 2nd shift (2pm–10:15pm) with a weekend premium and sign-on bonus. Prior caregiver experience and ability to lift up to 35 pounds are preferred; EMAR experience is a

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous experience in a caregiver role preferred.
• Experience with ADLs preferred.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 35 pounds without assistance.
• Prior EMAR system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and assist with personal care (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support mealtimes and ensure residents stay hydrated.
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers.
• Monitor vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
• Keep rooms clean, comfortable, and stocked with essentials.
• Respond quickly to call lights with kindness and professionalism.
• Report changes in condition to leadership promptly.
