Job summary

Arrow Senior Living in Highland Heights, OH, seeks a Memory Care Support Partner for a part-time role. The position entails empathetic resident interaction, observing and supporting memory care residents, and helping maintain a well-organized daily routine.

Candidates should be at least 18, have a high school diploma, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Excellent English communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• You will have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents.
• You will possess computer skills to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• You must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Advocate of Empathy: create human connection with residents during vulnerable moments.
• Patient Observer: discover residents’ interests and abilities to tailor engagement plans.
• Master of the Mise en Scène: set the stage for daily resident experiences, from dining to bedtime routines.
• Life Partner: support residents in daily activities from waking to sleeping.
• Excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition.
• Assist orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
