Job summary

Oakmont Management Group, based in Irvine, California, manages Traditions Memory Care and multiple senior living communities. The Activity Coordinator assists with organizing and directing activities to enhance residents’ independence and quality of life, aligned with the company’s mission and values.

In this role, you will promote high-quality activities, collaborate with the Memory Care Director, and help create a engaging social atmosphere within the Traditions area for Memory Care residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C, prefer Class B driver license to transport residents.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Oakmont Management Group may require vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and PPE per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director in providing a rewarding social atmosphere with activities and excursions.
• Promote resident participation through regularly scheduled activities and events.
• Communicate effectively and maintain tact and friendliness with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Able to drive community vehicles and support teamwork across departments.
