Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking an Activity Coordinator for the Traditions Memory Care community in California. You will organize, schedule, promote, facilitate, and direct activities and excursions to enhance residents’ independence and quality of life in alignment with our mission and values.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year of relevant experience preferred, and a valid driver license to transport residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C driver license (Class B preferred) to transport residents.
• Able to operate a personal computer and MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director in creating a rewarding social atmosphere with engaging activities and events.
• Promote resident participation through scheduled activities, excursions, and programs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
