Job summary

The Activity Coordinator at Traditions Memory Care helps organize, promote, and direct activities and excursions to enhance residents' independence and quality of life. Works under the Memory Care Director to create a creative, rewarding social atmosphere in the secured Traditions area.

Responsibilities include coordinating engaging events, maintaining safety standards, and supporting resident participation while collaborating with staff and other departments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer 1 year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Must have a valid Class C driver's license; Class B preferred for transporting residents.
• Able to operate a PC and use MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Support Memory Care Director by organizing and promoting engaging activities.
• Promote resident participation through planned events, clubs, and excursions.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment and follow safety standards.
• Assist with driving community vehicles as needed.
• Foster teamwork across departments.
