Cogir Senior Living in Scottsdale, Arizona, seeks a Memory Care Lifestyle Coordinator (Activity Assistant) to plan and deliver meaningful programs for residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia. The role focuses on creating an engaging, supportive environment and improving quality of life through social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, patient, and experienced in memory care, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with seniors and memory care preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group and one-on-one memory care activities aligned with residents' abilities.
• Develop and conduct daily life enrichment activities for memory care residents.
• Modify activities for inclusivity and success.
• Coordinate with care team to align activities with care plans.
• Plan and execute seasonal events for memory care residents.
• Document outcomes and progress notes for goals.
• Support caregiving during meal and rest breaks.
• Assist Lifestyle and Memory Care Directors as needed.
