The Oaks at Algonquin Senior Living in Algonquin, IL seeks a Program Coordinator, Memory Care, to craft and lead engaging resident activities for enhanced quality of life. You will collaborate with staff to plan events and coordinate transportation within community guidelines.

The role emphasizes a friendly, proactive approach, strong communication, and a passion for senior living. Daytime hours with weekend/holiday coverage required.

Qualifications

• The candidate shows a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Proficient using Internet resources and current technology.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Must be at least 21 years old with 3 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement adult-centric, engaging activities and events.
• Develop a monthly program calendar balancing cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational activities.
• Arrange for groups/organizations/individuals to perform or instruct residents.
• Encourage resident participation through positive, personalized interactions.
• Assist in providing transportation and organize outings under guidelines.
• Assist residents in entering and exiting community vehicles.
