Job summary

Vista Prairie at Copperleaf in Willmar, MN is looking for two part-time activity aides to brighten residents' days. You’ll lead games, music, and light exercise, while supporting memory care needs and encouraging participation throughout daytime shifts. A friendly, upbeat approach helps residents stay engaged and connected.

Hours are daytime-only with no evenings or nights. The role includes bus driving duties when needed, PTO, and an employee-friendly benefits program.

Qualifications

• Able to do hands-on physical tasks, like leading exercise or moving around the community.
• Experience with activities programs and dementia/memory care support required.
• Able to read, write, and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Help plan and lead group and one-on-one activities: games, music, gentle exercise, and conversation
• Support residents in using their physical and mental abilities during programs
• Encourage residents to join in and take part
• Build friendly, familiar relationships so residents look forward to seeing you
• Keep the mood upbeat and positive during activities
• Perform bus driver duties when applicable
