Job summary

The Birches Assisted Living in Clarendon Hills, IL is seeking an Activities Assistant / Enrichment Coordinator for the memory care neighborhood Encore. This part-time role focuses on designing and delivering engaging programs for residents living with memory loss, while building meaningful relationships with them and their families.

You will plan and implement activities that stimulate intellectual, spiritual, social, and physical well-being and foster a fun, supportive environment for residents

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma at minimum.
• On-the-job training provided for those passionate to support older adults.
• Experience in senior-living or memory-loss care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement programming that supports successful aging for residents living with memory loss.
• Build and support meaningful relationships with residents.
• Create and implement activities that support intellectual, spiritual, social, and physical abilities.
• Create a fun, positive, creative, and inspirational atmosphere for residents and team members.
• Develop purposeful events for older adults.
