Belmont Village Senior Living in Carol Stream is seeking a full-time Enrichment Leader to plan, organize and lead activities for seniors with cognitive disabilities in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. You will follow our memory enrichment program curriculum and help residents thrive.

The ideal candidate is reliable, empathetic, and able to work a fast-paced, physically active shift. You will lead small groups, prepare materials, and document participation while maintaining a spirit

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 months leading group activities with a special needs population.
• Ability to work the defined schedule which may include weekends.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees.

Responsibilities

• Leading and teaching small groups of cognitively impaired seniors in our memory enrichment programs.
• Preparing materials and researching activities to confidently lead memory enrichment sessions.
• Assisting with cognitive assessments, tracking participant engagement and maintaining required documentation.
